When Cleveland Brown started the training camp, the receiver, Josh Gordon, would not participate.New Orleans Saints iron on transfers
Gordon, who was reinstated by the league last year, announced on Twitter that he will not report to the camp on Wednesday.
Despite not revealing more details, Gordon said he is currently participating in rehabilitation treatments jointly developed by the NFL, the NFL Players Union and Brown.
Gordon was selected by Brown in the 2012 supplemental draft and he performed well on the court. In the 40 games of his career, he completed 179 catches and scored 3,089 yards and 15 touchdowns.New Orleans Saints heat transfers
But Gordon’s career has been overshadowed by repeated bans. He did not participate in the 2015 and 2016 seasons due to the suspension. In November last year, he was eligible to resume his qualifications.
Gordon’s statement seems to mean that he can return to the regular season in time. The combination of Gordon and Jarvis Landry’s wide receivers will definitely play a big role in Brown’s offense.
